Ubuntu is an African humanist philosophy which embodies the inherent collectivism & oneness of humanity in contrast to individualism. Simply put, the maxim “I am, because you are” conveys the spirit of Ubuntu-inspired humanism. Nelson Mandela discusses Ubuntu in the video below.

Using STEM to Address the UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) on health & wellness (SDG3)
HSY Corps4Health seeks to break barriers and use STEM to change the world through contributing to achievement of UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) addressing health & wellness (SDG3). Beyond direct impact on health, local and global action on SDG3 can also contribute more broadly to 14 out of the 17 SDGs including reducing inequalities, sustainable cities and communities, reducing poverty and hunger (through increased economic productivity), and more! The inaugural/Series-1 service-/project-based STEM (e)learning projects focus on immunizations/vaccinations & screenings.
